To follow through with my promise, I am going to give you a review of things that I find interesting. My new thing for today is Clipse. The rap duo, with The Neptunes producing their beat. Their new album "Hell Hath No Fury" was released a little while ago, but I really enjoy it. I listen to enough rap to know what is good and what isn't. The duo (brothers Malice and Pusha T) don't rap about social problems, slavery, racism or anything that makes me, as a middle class white male, feel bad about listening to. They make rap fun to listen to again! They don't rap about anything new, just drugs, money, and being rich. But their flow is enjoyable to listen to, their rhymes are decently orinigal and the beats are dark even for The Neptunes. You may have heard "Mr. Me Too" or perhaps "Wamp Wamp (What It Do)" on the radio or MTV (I wouldn't know, I don't use either). But yeah. I'd suggest listening to it if you enjoy some rap music every now and again. Awesome. Glad I got this out of the way. I have a day off tomorrow, Dr. Wolf is peacing out for the day. Which, also, is awesome. So yeah. Till next time.

Oh....P.S. GO CUSE.

Super!

I have a blog for my class, but after reading various other blogs on the Internet and whatnot, I figured I would have one just for the hell of it. Um, I don't know how much I'll actually post on this, but to steal Matt Robinson's idea, I might post movie reviews or what I think of books that I am reading. I'll try to avoid personal problems as much as possible, because I

a) am not in high school
b) don't listen to the Cure
and c) don't like to read other people bitching about problems or how sad they are all the time.

I've been at that point, so I don't feel the need to share those feelings with the world, at random. If I need to let something personal off of my chest, I'll find an appropriate outlet.

So, I guess this is the first post. I watched the Prestige the other night and I thought it was excellent. Christian Bale is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors, approaching "The Man" status (up there with pre-Jingle All the Way Arnold, Val Kilmer, Kevin Spacey, Jack Bauer and many more, with many more to come). Hugh Jackman was decent and Scarlett Johansson, well....there's not much to say there except damn. I am glad that she is a decent actress, because I feel that I would go against many of my personal convictions if I liked her just for her smoking hot looks. And fabulous body. And sultry voice....

But I digress.

The plot is interesting, it really says alot about the nature of obsession and how it can ruin yourself and those who you love. I read somewhere that it had some theme about the existence of God and I thought about that while I was watching it, but it didn't pop out to me....I'll keep an eye on it when I watch it again, because this is one of those movies that implores you to re-investigate with a fine tooth comb. It's like eating at a favorite diner. You want to check out the chicken tenders to see if it has quality, but on recurring visits, you want to see what it really has in store. I live for analogies and diners. Go figure.

Till next time.
